“Crazy Mood Swings” New Moon January 24, 2020 – Ceremony

Things we need for the Altar:

  1. Glass of water
  2. A planet – dirt
  3. A candle – fire
  4. Air – deep breathing

Things to bring for the Altar: one of these from #1-6 and make sure you bring #7.

  1. Pictures of a happy time
  2. A ring, necklace or bracelet that really makes you happy when wearing it
  3. Some kind of favorite food – anything, even sugar related
  4. Crystals – that make you happy
  5. Your favorite flower – it can be a picture or the real thing
  6. Write down your favorite song, music, movie, or show

Place offerings around the Altar, one by one, making a circle around the Altar.

Energy is already affecting us. It starts three days before the New Moon’s date and continues four days after, which is the most intense for energy; so if you miss this meditation, just go to my Facebook Page “Daily Gratitude Jar” and replay my live meditation. You can find the full ceremony on my website under my Blog!

This New moon is radiating energy down to Earth and into the universe; some may feel a little crazy, unsettled, wanting to question everything, have a hard time sleeping and an uneasiness in their body, mind, and spiritual beliefs. These feelings can cause people to have higher reactions such as anxiety, fearfulness, paranoia, unexplained anger, involuntary muscle movements and an unpredictable need to cry. This energy will also affect electronics and mechanical items. With some people, these energies will be making you feel like you are going “crazy,” but just knowing it is the New Moon’s energy, we can help alleviate these feelings by being aware and realizing how to help ourselves when these feelings come.

The first thing you do when you realize your change in energy, you need to understand that this is not your fault and that you can stop everything you are doing and take a few slow, deep breaths in and out to calm down. Try to also limit the amount of sugar you eat; this lessen that amount of worry to the physical body. If things are just looking “crazy,” you need to do some self-help grounding techniques. Drinking water and running your hand under running water and feeling the water’s energy going into the ground will help YOU to ground. Also, listening to our favorite radio station or listening to music that makes us happy. You could also do a short ten to thirty-minute meditation with deep breathing. You can also use some acupressure points to help you ground. Use the ST 36 point, which is four finger widths below the kneecap and one finger width to the outside of the shin bone. There is a slight indentation there. To feel if you are on the right spot, flex your foot and you should feel the muscle move when you move your foot up and down. This point can be very sensitive to some. Hold this point gently at first and breathe in and out slowly, holding this point deeper, but not so deep that you cause yourself a bruise. Hold, breathing deeply and slowly, in and out for about two to three minutes. If it is too sore, gently hold for thirty seconds to one minute. Do this four to six times a day! The best way to reach this point is by sitting in a chair with your knees bent. The objective of doing this point so often is to balance this point so the subconscious can realize it is a habit!

There are some essential oils that can help calm, relax, and ground you. Note: Please use essential oils with caution, for some oils may cause irritation to skin. Also be careful that some of these essential oils can cause irritation to lungs and breathing.  Please consult with a professional for using any of these oils. You can use these essential oils in a diffuser. Do not use them all together, only one or two! Here is a list: Spruce, Cypress, Bergamot, Rose, Lavender, Orange, Roman Chamomile, Frankincense, Lemon, Basil, Clary Sage, Sandalwood and Tangerine. These are just a few!

Starting Meditation:

Everyone can sit or lie down, but you need to relax; close your eyes and take a deep breath in and out slowly. Relax deeper and deeper with every in and out breath.

Thank you for all being here and thank you Moon for sending us new challenging energy for us to grow. Thank you Divine, Loved Ones, Angels, Spirits and Guides for helping us to realize that even though there is change always happening, we can remain grounded, calm and in the moment.

Dear Moon, we ask on behalf of all our family, friends and for the greater good of all, that these loving, healing, nurturing, supporting and forgiving energies and vibrations reach through time and space to whomever is going through change in their life right now and that this energy is gentle and compassionate in this time of change. May we realize that we are just in a state of change and this also will pass.

Dear New Moon, I know that this is also a perfect time to start something new; a new course, new project, new life style, new relationship, new job or just something that you have always wanted to do. But I do have to have an open heart and mind for it to come to me and I must act on it for it to come true.

Help me navigate through these unstable energies of change. Help me to stay grounded and to just go with the flow. There will be many things that I will not understand why they are happening; but give me strength, energy, and faith for experiencing the unexpected. I am not going “crazy,” I am just a human experiencing a cosmic energy of great power and change. I am sorry for what I may say, do, think, and act at this time. Please forgive me and I forgive myself for the uncontrollable words, thoughts, and actions that I may feel compelled to do. I love you Divine and myself totally and completely at this time of chaos. Thank you Divine for loving me, supporting me, guiding me, providing strength for me, motivating me, protecting me, providing abundance for my every need and for forgiving me.

Please hear all the Daily Gratitude Jar messages and help change these messages into love, healing, creativity, abundance, peace, contentment, and compassion.

Read out some Daily Gratitude Jar messages – say around thirteen of them.

Dear Father, Creator of all, we ask you hear our prayer. We are full of gratitude, love and forgiveness.  “I am sorry.  Please forgive me and I forgive myself. I love You,

I thank You! – New Moon of Crazy

Say the prayer or mantra three times. At the last phrase, give thanks to the New Moon of Crazy.

Take a deep breath in and out slowly and start to move your fingers, hands, and feet. When you are ready, open your eyes slowly, take another deep breath in and out slowly, look around, and notice how you feel. If you feel not in your body, just keep breathing slowly and keep moving your physical body until you feel heavy, relaxed and contented.

“May peace, contentment, love, joy, health, prosperity, guidance, and creativity be with you into the next month of change and also new possibilities with a clear mind, body and soul!

7 Natural Tips For A Healthy, Happy and Fun Summer

Summertime means vacations, camping, farmer’s markets, fairs, and maybe even a stampede or two! Here are some tips so you can enjoy a healthy and safe summer.

Drinking Water Hydrates and Helps all body Functions

Drinking Water Hydrates and Helps all body Functions

1. Drinking water is vital to your health.  Water helps us to stay cool and hydrated on those hot summer days. We need to drink at least 16-32 ounces on just a normal summer day, more as the temperature rises.   When you are out and about, bring enough water for the whole family. It is important to remember infants and toddlers can become much more quickly dehydrated than adults.

Your pets also can get sun stroke and dehydrated so it is best to exercise them in the early morning or evening hours when it is cooler. AND never leave children or pets unattended in your vehicle even for a few minutes.

2. Limit your exposure to the sun by wearing a hat/cap, light loose-fitting clothes and use natural sunscreens.  If you have overexposed yourself to the sun’s rays use Aloe Vera gel for the healing and cooling feeling benefits it will provide. Safeguard your eyes with sunglasses that have UV ray protection.

3. If you are planning to do a lot of walking or any sport activities wear the appropriate shoes for these activities. Make sure they are light, comfortable, and wear cotton socks; this will help you avoid blisters and sprains.

Check out Local Super Markets and Farmers Markets for all in seasoned Fruits and Vegetables.

4. To maintain your energy levels this is the perfect time of the year to find Nature’s bounty of fresh fruits and vegetables at Farmer’s Markets and supermarkets. Consume foods that are light and cooling, prepare—vegetable/fruit smoothies, salads, platters of sliced fruits & vegetables. Adding proteins such as nuts, seeds, sprouted beans, soy products, yogurt, and cottage cheese make a light meal. For dinners fish and poultry are easy to barbeque and provide a break from ‘heavier’ meats.

5. Summer Teas are becoming increasingly popular and provide a tasty way to stay hydrated. Try this simple recipe: Take a clear half or one gallon glass jar and fill it with spring water; add flowers and tea leaves or bags – peppermint, chamomile, or lemon grass work well. Make sure they are of a safe quality. Leave in the sun for two hours or up to a whole day and then enjoy.  You can also make moon tea to help enhance your lunar, dreamy side by letting your herbs steep in the cooling, mystical moonlight. Experiment with different flavorings; try orange or lemon peel, a sprig of rosemary, lavender or a few jasmine flowers.

6. Gardening, camping, hiking, and playing outdoors all provide exercise but these outdoor activities can bring with them tick borne diseases.  Reduce that risk by using safe repellents and when you come indoors check clothing, body parts and your pet’s fur. A shower and putting your outdoor clothes in the wash will also help.

7. Last but not least – make sure when traveling to take a natural first aid kit for bites, bee strings, or injuries.

So go out and have a wonderful summer with family and friends; check out this wonderful back yard of ours and enjoy nature and all it has to offer you! Have a happy, healthy and fun summer!

The Love Center: “The Heart”

February is Heart Month and it is the month of love. Did you also know that we all THE HEART CHAKRAhave an energy center which vibrates in our bodies call the “heart charka center”? This is our “love center” and pink is the color associated with it.

Every living thing has many energy centers inside and outside of their bodies, but most of us are only taught about the seven major centers. These centers are one part of your bodies that make us how we are. Chakras are just another system helping connect your mind, body and soul in order for them to work together using light energy vibration.

Exercises That Can Reduce Neck and Shoulder Pain

Strength training exercises using dumbbells can reduce pain and improve function in your trapezius muscle, the large muscle which extends from the back of the head down the neck and into the upper back.

Repetitive strain injury has become increasingly common. Many office workers report frequent neck pain.

Researchers found that five strength exercises — the one-arm row, shoulder abduction, shoulder elevation, reverse fly and upright row — can substantially reduce perceived pain.

Dr. Mercola’s Comments:

Not surprisingly, repetitive strain injuries have become increasingly common as so many people spend most of their work days in front of computers.

New Year, New Resolutions, New Way; “The Natural Way”

We are now into another New Year; so what are you going to do differently than any other New Year?  We all make New Year’s Resolutions and we all break them. Why not just keep this one? “I will try with all my will and means to help my body stay or become healthy the natural way.” This is not a very difficult one to keep! There are many things around us that we are already using and that can be used to help or maintain your body’s health. If you are one of those people who are looking to change your lifestyle, why not add self-massage to it too?

There are so many benefits:

* Self-massage can help you lose weight,

* Help you with your sore muscles before and after your new routine at the gym,

* Self-massage can even help you if you decide to quit smoking,

* Self-massage is a big key to help with healing your body naturally,

* Self-massage does not only work on your muscles,

* It also works on all levels of being; mental, physical, emotional and spiritual.

To help you while you make lifestyle changes, and to make your resolutions more enjoyable, here are some of the advantages of Self-Massage:

*All you need are your hands, so this makes it very inexpensive to try and learn.  The techniques involved actually entail far less strain and stress than you might think, allowing you to diet, exercise or even quit smoking more easily.

*Self-massage helps relax the whole-body systems, making you feel safe, calm, and loose; also allowing you to sleep better.

* To support your exercise program, self-massage can increase blood circulation and flexibility, which in turn helps relieve muscle tension, relax the muscles, thus keeping them healthy, flexible and strong and when self-massage is done prior to exercise helps stave off injuries.

* When we are happy, the body is also happy and healthier. When we decide to make lifestyle changes the natural way, self massage can help produce chemical changes in the body that contribute to feeling happy, naturally.  These chemicals are called endorphins (the natural happy drug). Feeling happiness helps the body experience less stress and feels less depressed.

* Self-massage boosts the immune system, making you feel that you have what it takes to keep going on your natural lifestyle journey. * When you exercise, quit smoking or even change your diet, your body has to “detox”.  Self-massage helps the body detoxify naturally. When your body’s balance is re-established, your chances of succeeding in your healthy lifestyle change increases, thus improving overall health.

* If you are stressing over your resolutions, self-massage will help decrease your blood pressure.  When less stressed, you are helping your body to be more in balance; giving you confidence, drive, and determination to finish what you have already started.

* Self-massage is a great way to really get to know your body; how it feels, where it is sore, what pressure you like or dislike and the overall health of your body inside and out. If you know your body better, you can increase your chances of success in your New Year’s Resolutions.

*Self-massage is also one great way to help your skin look and feel young and healthy. Who doesn’t want that!

So, knowing that self-massage can aid in your New Year’s Resolutions, my question to you is:  why not incorporate self-massage or massage into your lifestyle change, “The Natural Way”?  It is easy to learn and do, easy on the pocket book and it benefits you and your body in so many remarkable ways.  Do yourself a favour and start adding self-massage to your life today! It is never too late to start!

Ho’oponopono Meditation Mantra and Prayer

A Loving and Forgiving Prayer:

“Making Things Right”

What is Ho’oponopono

Author:Gleb Esman

Ho’oponopono is a little known but extremely powerful self-transformation technique.

Ho’oponopono originated from Hawaii and was originally taught by Morrnah Nalamaku Simeona. Morrnah was a healer and in 1983 she received a great honor by being designated as a living treasure of Hawaii. She was teaching Ho’oponopono to small and large groups of people as well as to hospitals, colleges and even to United Nations personnel. She also founded “The Foundation of I, Self-Identity through Hoʻoponopono” to promote principles of Ho’oponopono around the world.

Historically Ho’oponopono healing system required the presence of mediator – senior qualified practitioner who would guide a healing process for practitioner.
